Project Open Sky Boeing 757-200
FREEWARE
The Boeing 757 is a medium to long haul narrow body commercial passenger jet aircraft. The 757 was launched to replace the 727 and entered service in 1983. The production of the 757 has ceased in 2004. Blended winglets are available as a retrofit to increase fuel efficiency and range.

Project Open Sky is a freeware aircraft developer group that has been around for some time. They developed many aircraft models for FS2002 and FS2004, mostly Boeing aircraft. Their Boeing 757-200 is a highly detailed representation of its real world counterpart. A few of the features are: dynamic shine, wingview or virtual cockpit, opening passenger and cargo doors, 3d flight attendants in the cabin and more. There are various models available like RR and PW engine variants (there are no General Electric powered 757's because of insufficient demand from airlines), winglet and non-winglet variants and passenger and cargo variants.

The flight dynamics are quite good, it's not hard to fly this 757. Both rudder and landing gear behave realistic, which is something we don't see often with models developed by Project Open Sky. The virtual cockpit is optional, it can be activated by downloading the virtual cockpit textures from Project Open Sky's website and copy them to each texture folder (each livery will need those textures in their own texture folder). This virtual cockpit is quite simple actually, only a few buttons are clickable and the textures are low quality. Still, it's a nice feature of course.

You say very nice. Do you use FSX or FS2004?

I use both, FS2004 most of the time.
