You can make a flight plan with multiple legs if your're flying VFR. You have to land at the airports by yourself. FSX ATC doesn't really bother where you go if your're flying VFR. But if you do this in IFR, only the departure and destination airports are accounted. Other airports you include are taken as waypoints. If you want to do a stopover/halt file a normal flight plan. After landing, file another to the next airport through the simulation menu (press ALT) and you'll find the flight planner in the first tab. Don't understand what you mean by 'round trip' though. |

Thank you very much Andrew, your sugestion is the way I'm doing it right now, I thought that there was a way to file only one flight plan with several stops, intead of filing individual flight plans after each stop. For " Round trip" I was thinking of departuring from airport A going to B and returning to A. Rgds Hector |

Hi, It's possible to create a Flight Plan with multiple stops using the provided planner. It's also possible to create a roundtrip Flight plan but this involves some simple text editing of a fight plan created by conventional means. You create a normal multiple-stop flight plan with the final destination at an airport close to the departure airport and then text edit the flight plan file so that the final destination is the departure airport. There is a link that provides a step by step procedure that provides a far better explanation to accomplish this than I can provide. I'll look it up and then post it. The link was mainly aimed at a sailplane roundtrip but can be used for any. Jim |

Hi again, Here's the link. https://carrier.csi.cam.ac.uk/forsterlew ... x/dev/gps/ The procedure given does more than what you've requested and as such looks pretty intimidating. Don't be. Just refer to the section entitled "The basic sequence" for an overview and use this as a guide. Once you've created a simple 2 airport flight plan, within Flight Planner, you simply graphically drag the final destination to intermediate airports and then waypoints are created. It's a lot easier to do than explain. The procedure assumes the GPS will be used as a navigational aid in locating waypoints which are not at airports which makes the procedure appear complicated.
