Hi Chris, I don't exactly understand how an Airbus aircraft climbs. Is it something like you select a specific thrust setting for a climb in a Boeing and then pitch for airspeed or do you select a specific climb rate and adjust thrust and rates accordingly? Thanks, Andrew

Well, I don't know...the airbus systems are quite complex and I never took the time to learn it completely.

On the feelthere/wilco a320 you select an altitude and a speed and the aircraft adjusts the climbrate to get to the altitude while keeping the speed constant.
