DreamFleet 727-100/200
review
The Boeing 727, sometimes called the "Whisperjet" (as a result of the rear-mounted turbofan jet engines, passengers seated forward in first class could actually hear each other whispering, which was quite unique in a time that hearing someone whispering aboard a jet plane was not possible due to loud engine noise), is a classic mid-size narrow-body trijet.
Dreamfleet developed this aircraft and it is published by Flight1. This Boeing 727 package contains the 727-100, 727-200, winglets and hush kits models, passenger and freighter models, panel, virtual cockpit, engine sounds, liveries, livery tools, config tool and manuals. The exterior is highly detailed and the liveries are well done. Many systems are simulated, available on various panels.
The virtual cockpit looks nice, but the functionality is limited. Most of the panels are 2d textures as well as knobs and switches. The windshield wipers are animated (and even make sound!) and visible in the virtual cockpit and on the exterior. The flight dynamics are accurate and give you the 'feel' of a classic aircraft like the 727. Both the internal and external sound is very realistic. More liveries can be downloaded for free on the Flight1 website (scroll down on the product page).
