Project Opensky CRJ-200
review
The Bombardier CRJ (Canadair Regional Jet) series are regional narrow body commercial passenger jet aircraft, based on the Canadair Challenger design, which was purchased by Canadair from Learjet in 1976. Several models of the CRJ have been produced, ranging in capacity from 40 to 104 passengers. The oldest and smallest CRJ is the CRJ-100, the newest and largest is the CRJ-1000, which is scheduled to enter service in late 2009.
Project Open Sky's CRJ-200 is a simple aircraft developed for FS2002 in 2002. The textures and livery textures are not that good, most of them released some years ago. By default, the panel of the default learjet in FS2004 is used, but you can also download another panel from websites like AVSIM. The non-functional virtual cockpit is very simple, most of the textures are a bit blurry due to the low resolution of the texture files. Most of the animations seem to be accurate, although the suspension of the main landing gear is unrealistic. Interesting detail: a passenger cabin is modeled in the exterior model, so you can see through the plane via the windows. It's safe to say that this model is outdated, let's hope for a new version like the new v3 CRJ-700.
