Project Opensky CRJ-900
review
The Bombardier CRJ (Canadair Regional Jet) series are regional narrow body commercial passenger jet aircraft, based on the Canadair Challenger design, which was purchased by Canadair from Learjet in 1976. Several models of the CRJ have been produced, ranging in capacity from 40 to 104 passengers. The oldest and smallest CRJ is the CRJ-100, the newest and largest is the CRJ-1000, which is scheduled to enter service in late 2009.
Project Open Sky's CRJ-900 is developed for FS2004. The liveries are not bad, but the exterior is a bit simple. By default, the panel of the default learjet in FS2004 is used, but you can also download another panel from websites like AVSIM. The non-functional virtual cockpit is very simple, most of the textures are a bit blurry due to the low resolution of the texture files. Most of the animations seem to be accurate, although the suspension of the main landing gear is unrealistic and the nose gear is floating a bit. Also, the rudder yaw is only effective on the ground, which makes it difficult to takeoff and land in crosswind conditions.
