Forums could not be saved...

Due to various problems related to the forum script and the server setup, we're not be able to restart the forum. We will switch back to the good old phpbb forum script.

Unfortunately, this means that all data is lost, including the member accounts. We're currently working on the configuration of the phpbb script. When that has been completed, all forum members will receive an email with a request to register again.

Sorry for the inconvenience.

Server move not completed yet

As you might have seen, we're in the middle of a server move. Currently, we're working on the gallery section. The downloads, videos and aircraft reviews sections have been restored already.

The forum is a different story. The backup function of the forum script doesn't work properly. Attempts to manually restore the forum have failed so far. We might have to consider to install another forum script, which means that all treads and user accounts will be gone.

We will keep you informed.

Microsoft Flight Simulator studio has been shut down.

Microsoft has fired almost the entire Flight Simulator team on January 23. The ACES Studio, which is the internal development studio responsible for Microsoft Flight Simulator, will continue to operate with only 6 people to perform an orderly shutdown and service existing contracts.

The reason for the closure is the ecomomic slow down that affects many companies, including Microsoft. A Microsoft's spokesman said that the decision was made within Microsoft's Internal Entertainment Business "to align our people against our highest priorities".

The development of the next Flight Simulator version seems to be on hold for now.
