Historic Jetliners Group DC-8
review
The Douglas DC-8 is a classic four-engined, medium to long range, narrow body commercial jet airliner. The Douglas DC-8 was announced in 1955 and entered service with United Airlines and Delta Airlines in 1959.
The Historic Jetliners Group is historic aircraft developer of manufacturers like Boeing, Douglas and Convair. Their Douglas DC-8 is a detailed and frame-rate friendly aircraft and there are many different models to choose from. Almost all DC-8 variants are available, including the DC-8-73 (Super 70) with CFM56 high bypass turbofans. There are also many liveries available on their website.
The flight dynamics are well balanced, everything works as it is supposed to. A 2D panel is optional, as are the sound packages. The panel and sound packages are also available on their website.
