Historic Jetliners Group DC-9-20
review
The McDonnell Douglas DC-9 is a short to medium range, narrow body commercial passenger jet aircraft. The development project of the DC-9 launched in 1963 was intended as a short-range companion for the larger DC-8. The 70 seat DC-9-10 was the initial variant and entered service with launch customer Delta Air Lines in 1965. When the production of the DC-9 ended in 1982, a total of 976 DC-9 variants were built.
The HJG DC-9-20 is a good looking but simple model. Everything works like it is supposed to, although the animation of the thrust reversers is a bit too fast. No virtual cockpit or panel is included, only 2 P&W; JT8D sound packs, which can be downloaded separately. Those sounds are nice, but just not loud enough. The DC-9-20 and -50 variant are the only DC-9 models available for now. Other variations will follow.

Value Jet...I remember something had happen to it. They had put some wrong cargo on one of their DC-9s which was the doomed flight headed for Florida. Don't know full story. But they had to shut down then...I thinkon 08/15/2009 at 19:45:24
