Thomas Ruth FSX Version AN-124
review
The Antonov An-124 Ruslan is a cargo jet aircraft, commonly used for oversized cargoes. The first flight was on December 26, 1982. After the break up of the Soviet Union, civil certification was issued on 30 December 1992. The An-124 was the largest civil aircraft until the Antonov An-225 was built in 1988. Powered by four Lotarev D-18 turbofan engines, the An-124 can carry 150,000 kg (330,000 lb) and 88 passengers in an upper deck behind the wing centre section. The last An-124 was completed in 2004, but Russia and Ukraine have agreed to resume the production in the Q3 2008.
The new Thomas Ruth AN-124 is a major improvement over the prvious version. One obvious Improvement is the model, it now has cleaner lines. But unlike the previous version, this AN-124 has a Simple panel and a simple but good looking VC with 4-Engine gauges. There is no Wingview, but who needs it anyway, in this FSX version, we have very nice aircraft views.
